| Online

The European Ground Motion Service (EGMS) is a brand-new type of geospatial data, with the power to revolutionise the understanding of ground deformation phenomena and geological hazards across Europe.

In order to facilitate the uptake of this novel product type, the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS) team is delighted to announce a series of thematic webinars that will guide users towards a better understanding of the EGMS and the use of its products. The webinars are open for all.

The theme and timing for each event are:

  1. EGMS, a general introduction (click for slides and Q&A) – Thursday, 02 March 2023
  2. EGMS and exploitation of natural resources (click for slides and recording) – Wednesday, 29 March 2023
  3. EGMS and geological hazards – Wednesday, 19 April 2023
  4. EGMS and climate adaptation – Tuesday, 16 May 2023
  5. EGMS, urban areas and infrastructure – Wednesday, 07 June 2023

The webinar will start at 11.00 CET (10.00 GMT) and last one hour, including a live Q&A session. Following each event, the slides, Q&A, and a recording of the webinar will be uploaded to the event page. Please note that the recordings started with the second webinar.
