The role of copper in the clean energy and digital transition
15/09/2022 - 16:00 › 17:30
| OnlineCopper plays a leading role in the EU’s transition to a climate-neutral and digital economy. Several EU initiatives focused on renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure and green transportation require the sustainable supply of a wide range of raw materials including copper. During the webinar, participants will gain insight into the role of copper in the green economy and gain knowledge about investment opportunities, traceability and other challenges along the value chain. This webinar is hosted by the EU-Latin America Partnership on Raw Materials and will facilitate exchanges at the forefront of this field and stimulate discussion on how the EU transition to a climate-neutral economy can set the basis for value chain integration between the EU and Latin America, outlining opportunities for common action.
